Great Deals At Orange Mobile Shop

Posted in Shopping on Friday, July 30th, 2010 at 10:22 by Sarah Evans.

Until now I have had a difficult time find a mobile that I like and that will not break my bank account. I think I have found just the right thing at the Orange Mobile Shop. I can choose from the latest and greatest iPhone 4 or Blackberry or choose to go with a practical refurbished phone, depending on my needs. The phone I have now is nice but is not as nice as the iPhone and is just as expensive. Live and learn!

Purely Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend

Posted in Shopping on Thursday, July 29th, 2010 at 11:26 by Sarah Evans.

Everyone always wants to know why diamonds are a girl’s best friend. It’s simple – they’re sparkly. Women like sparkly things. I could also say that they don’t argue with you, snore, or forget your birthday but I’ll stick with sparkly.

It’s not easy to always be in the right place at the right time. In fact it’s hard to be in the right place at the right time at all. Now you don’t have to be because QVC is online!

Direct TVs For All Your TV Needs

Posted in Shopping on Tuesday, July 27th, 2010 at 10:24 by Sarah Evans.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about buying a new TV. There’s nothing wrong with the one I have except that it is big, bulky, and quite old. It works just fine but the last time I moved I swore I would never carry it around again. With the new, advanced models on the market today I have to admit that I am constantly tempted to go shopping for something new.

Cartridge Monkey

I’ve run out of printer ink again. I don’t really think about it very often because I don’t use a lot of ink these days. Of course the time I notice it is when I am completely out. I absolutely refuse to pay retail prices for ink. I don’t understand why some companies charge as if ink were gold! I have worked in an industry for many years that uses ink in large quantities and it is not nearly as expensive as what the companies charge users like us. Well, most companies.

Great Magazines at Great Prices!

Posted in Shopping on Friday, July 23rd, 2010 at 10:13 by Sarah Evans.

I used to read a lot of magazines. As a die hard multi-tasker it is common to see me reading during commercial breaks or basically any time I have a free minute. Then my schedule got busier and magazines started to get frightfully expensive. That’s when I gave up my magazines. I miss them. Oh, sure I received offers that promised discounts or special deals. When the time came to cancel the promotion or special deal, it was extremely difficult to do so. Eventually, I just gave up.

Have Fun With Virgin Experience Days

Posted in Shopping on Thursday, July 22nd, 2010 at 10:34 by Sarah Evans.

It seems that there are always new experiences to be had. As a society I think we are trained to save the biggest and best adventures for annual holidays. Why? I used to feel that way until I began to realize that with only a day or two of my time, I can get away to do almost anything I would want to do on holiday without taking up all of my paid days off or going to the expense of planning an exotic trip. So far one of the best places I have found to plan a short holiday is through Virgin Experience Days. I frequently visit the site to see what kinds of experience days are currently being offered. Looking at the site today I saw several that caught my eye. It also made me realize that I have an inner daredevil.

It pains me to think of “end of the season” sales when it’s only July. Although it is slight depressing, it means more good deals for us! Soon we will stop worrying about the garden and start thinking of all the things we need to do inside the house before the weather gets cold. One item seems to fit both criteria.

Virgin Home Insurance

I’ve talked quite a lot about the serious of disasters that befell my poor little flat recently. There were numerous floods, all from different sources, and many ruined things. It made me think about switching my home insurance as the company was not entirely pleasant to deal with. The settlement they gave me for my ruined property was insufficient and in the end I felt like I was being accused of creating the floods! It’s time to change companies. Right now I am looking at Virgin Home Insurance because of the things they offer plus the economical price.

Debenhams Single Travel Insurance is the Best Solution

Posted in Insurance on Monday, July 19th, 2010 at 15:50 by Sarah Evans.

I am beginning to think that I have some kind of dual travelling personality. I adore travelling to new and exciting places, learning new things, and seeing things up close that previously could only be seen online, on the telly, or in books. On the other hand, I can be a complete homebody that cherishes quiet alone time. The fact is that even if I would travel a great deal more if I had the time and resources. When I do go, I want to take every precaution possible to ensure that my trip will be as pleasant and without a great deal of mishaps. Unfortunately, mishaps occur no matter how carefully we plan.
