Co-Op Electrical Shop

Posted in Uncategorized on Friday, October 29th, 2010 at 11:38 by Sarah Evans.

Buying or remodelling a house can be a great deal of fun. That is until it’s time to buy the appliances. Buying electrical appliances can be hard work even if the item itself is relatively simple such as a cooker, refrigerator, computer or audio system. I know when I shop for these items I want to make sure that I am getting the most reliable products at the best prices. The word “retail” is not and never will be a part of my vocabulary! In addition to price and quality, I want to know if the appliance has energy saving features. The site also offers eco-friendly removal of old appliances so that you are not faced with proper disposal.

E2Save for Free Phones and More

Today as I was looking around the internet, I came across E2Save. I immediately thought of a friend of mine that has been having some issues with his electronics this past week or so. The first thing to malfunction was his PS3. The second thing was the Blackberry. I am not sure if it’s bad luck or that the universe is telling him to go to E2Save.

I have been a diehard music fan ever since I was born. The same thing can be said for movies and books. The one thing it took me a long time to learn to love was audio books. Somehow it just seemed like cheating. I’m not really sure why but there was some part of me that thought if I wasn’t actually holding the book in my hands then it didn’t count. One day I decided to try one. I was getting ready to go away on a trip and decided that I wanted to take something along to keep me company. I was immediately hooked. Ever since that day I have always had an audio book on hand. In fact, I listen to one every night at bedtime and have found that I cannot sleep without it!

It has been said many times but it bears repeating – Diamonds are a girl’s best friend. What else stays so beautiful and appreciates in value? Plus, they’re just so sparkly!

Hot Floors for Fido

Posted in General on Monday, October 25th, 2010 at 10:23 by Sarah Evans.

I really began to notice yesterday that my floors are getting cold at night. Not chilly, but cold. It seems to be the worst in the places I sit most, such as my desk. Then I started thinking that if my feet are that cold, how must the family pet feel? It’s not bad if the pet is permitted to sit on the furniture but even then the floor stays cold for the little ones. If the dogs are anything like me, they really dislike cold feet. This made me think of Hot Floors, the company that sells under the floor heating systems, cables and the like, a concept that makes me incredibly happy.

EDreams for the Real Deal!

How many times have you searched online for a comparison site for airfare, hotels, cars, etc.? And how many times have you come up with the same list of services or company that promises to get the best deals? How many actually provide the best deals? The search can be utterly exhausting. Typically what I find is a handful of sites that actually do what they say – compare different companies for the lowest price. Unfortunately, 99% of the sites research the same few companies with little variation in the price.

Hillarys Blinds for All Seasons

Posted in General on Thursday, October 21st, 2010 at 10:44 by Sarah Evans.

I have been thinking about taking down my happy summer drapes and putting up the heavier ones that I use in autumn and winter. Of course I also had a look at my blinds which are, frankly, ugly. They are the non-descript off white shades used by every landlord in every flat across the UK (at least the ones I have seen). I think it’s time for a change. I don’t want to go through another season with ugly blinds.

Airparks Save the Day!

Posted in General on Wednesday, October 20th, 2010 at 10:43 by Sarah Evans.

I spoke with another friend today who is preparing to go on a cross country trip, (soon to be followed by another). As much as I love to travel, travelling on behalf of your employer can’t be much fun. Fortunately for him, the second trip is very close to where I live, so I can save him the grief of parking his car or finding a car hire service. For me, airport car parks used to be notoriously horrid places, and navigating them seemed to last a lifetime. In reality, they were probably only the length of a football field, but when you’re carrying luggage the distance often appears much longer. Every time that I find myself in this situation, I promise myself that I will pack less next time. Of course, I never do.

Sparkling Direct

As a woman, when I think of “sparkling” anything, I think of two things: champagne/wine and diamonds. It’s not often that I get either but it’s quite a treat when I do. If someone would take the hint and put diamonds in my champagne, that would be a real cause of celebration! As it is, I think I’ll just keep shopping for myself.

LookFantastic Loves Men too!

I often feel sorry for men when it comes to websites that offer salon treatments. Many salons offer products for women but few, if any, for men. Fortunately for our male counterparts, LookFantastic has many products for the men in our lives. Even if there aren’t any men in your life at present, how can you resist going to “Mantastic”? And, remember, bosses, brothers, friends, and fathers count as men, so I am sure you will be able to find something wonderful for an upcoming holiday or birthday. There are lots of gifts ideas for men and women, which is especially exciting this time of year when we all start to think about holiday shopping, stocking stuffers and the like.
