There are many benefits to running your own business, particularly if you work from home. You can come in late, work anytime you want, perhaps even in your pyjamas (depending on the sort of work you do), take unscheduled breaks, and all types of other things. The downside to all of that is making sure you have enough money to keep you and your company solvent, which may mean working many more hours than you might at a “real” job. There are also other factors to consider such as a staff, if needed, or a plethora of bits and bobs that must be kept around the office.
