LookFantastic Loves Men too!

Posted in eComparison, Shopping on Monday, October 18th, 2010 at 10:34 by Sarah Evans.

I often feel sorry for men when it comes to websites that offer salon treatments. Many salons offer products for women but few, if any, for men. Fortunately for our male counterparts, LookFantastic has many products for the men in our lives. Even if there aren’t any men in your life at present, how can you resist going to “Mantastic”? And, remember, bosses, brothers, friends, and fathers count as men, so I am sure you will be able to find something wonderful for an upcoming holiday or birthday. There are lots of gifts ideas for men and women, which is especially exciting this time of year when we all start to think about holiday shopping, stocking stuffers and the like.

Gizoo is Gadget Heaven

Posted in eComparison, General, Shopping on Friday, September 17th, 2010 at 12:29 by Sarah Evans.

Gizoo is one of those sites where I could spend hours looking at gadgets and those one of a kind items that I have never seen in any of my shopping excursions. Gizoo is a site that was borne from a software company that needed to expand its business model. What they have crafted is a top notch, quirky gift site. Every time I look at Gizoo I find myself clicking on links in every category, from gifts for men and women, innovative gadgets and especially the catalogue of experience days.

The White Company Creates a Beautiful Home

Posted in eComparison, General, Shopping on Friday, September 10th, 2010 at 12:19 by Sarah Evans.

The first time I heard of The White Company, I assumed that everything they sold was actually white. Then I realised that maybe it was a company that sold household linens. The latter is true. The White Company sells many things other than linens, such as gifts, fashions for men women and children, home goods, furniture and much more. And no, they’re not all white.

Cartridge People Offer the Right Price

Posted in eComparison, General, Money Saving on Thursday, September 9th, 2010 at 11:14 by Sarah Evans.

It never ceases to amaze me how much people will pay for ink cartridges. I remember the first time someone told me how much I would have to pay for a colour ink cartridge, I thought I misunderstood. Even saying “Pardon me??” didn’t change the price. Fortunately for me, I abhor paying retail for anything if I can help it and set out to find a price I could afford without selling my car.

Next Sale for the Beauty in All

Posted in eComparison, Sales, Shopping on Wednesday, July 14th, 2010 at 11:39 by Sarah Evans.

Whilst looking at the Next Sale site today, I saw the one word that every woman longs to hear. Sorry men, but the word I mean is “Clearance”! There are items on the site up to 70% off, which means there are items for absolutely everyone no matter how meagre the budget.

Next Sale for More Shoes!

Posted in eComparison, Money Saving, Shopping on Monday, July 12th, 2010 at 11:04 by Sarah Evans.

I know I talk a lot about shoes but there are so many areas to cover that one blog is just not enough. Today’s topic will be completely foreign to men so you’ll just have to trust me. If you have any doubts about my tale of woe, turn to the nearest woman and ask. [...]

Getting Personal Can be a Good Thing!

Posted in eComparison, General on Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010 at 11:48 by Sarah Evans.

Sometimes I think that we are so inundated with media and sites that want to know everything about everyone that people forget that getting personal isn’t always appropriate. I am always amazed at the things people will ask me. Even complete strangers have no qualms about asking age, weight, salary, or how much I paid for my car. I always find that shocking. I was taught to never ask about money because it’s rude and everyone knows it is taboo to ask a woman about her age (I have no problem telling) or weight (wild horses couldn’t drag it out of me even if I knew the truth).

Big Shoe Boutique

My new shoes came from Big Shoe Boutique over the weekend. I must admit, I loved them so much I went online and ordered another few pairs. Now all I have to do is explain my reasoning to my husband. Miss me luck!
