Many department stores have sections devoted to babies. Some have more selection than others. The Next Sale has the best collection I’ve seen and includes all of the things one might need for the little one at home.

One of the things in ample supply on the Next Sale site is spirits. Not the kinds that go bump in the night, rather, those that might be served with an elegant dinner or as a celebratory toast. Of course, if you need the glasses and other supplies to go along with your wine or champagne, where better to find them than at the massive Next Sale?

I was house dreaming today. As I was coming back from getting some take away, I saw some houses that are for sale. There aren’t many houses to let in my neighbourhood, but there are places to buy. As I looked at a couple of them and tried to picture myself living there, I automatically thought about what type of home furnishings I would want for my new house. One of the most important rooms in any house is the kitchen, particularly if you like to cook, as I do. It is important to have the proper pots, pans and utensils. Those items are first on my list. The second room is the lounge. I would need a new sofa, a davenport, and a flat panel TV. While there are other rooms to consider, the bedroom and en suite bath would also be extremely important. It would have to be pretty, of course, but also functional. A new desk is a must. Although in my new house I would have a separate office. I will just be happy with a new bed and dressers along with a mirror. The perfect walk in closet will already have everything it needs.

Most people know that I am not a big fan of huge department stores that specialise in, well, everything. The reason for that opinion stems from most stores I’ve seen that offer everything but give the consumer nothing in return. There may be one or two items that are good deals but the rest of the goods are overpriced or of terrible quality. Today I was told about the Next Sale coming up. I decided to look at the website and found that my opinion has changed. Instead of finding one or two things that I liked (and would fit me or my loved ones) I found many things that would be perfect additions to our wardrobes.
