Farm Africa is constantly developing techniques of improving the food production in these regions by helping the people to better manage their natural resources, which will help them to keep their crops returning year after year.

Farm Africa looks to help this process along by supplying these people with improved seeds, which will grow at a more efficient rate, and access to water, in order to keep this land irrigated. Farm Africa believes that this is the only permanent solution to the poverty in the country because without food, there are no stepping-stones for the future. Farm Africa is looking for an alternative to handouts for these people by putting them in a situation where they can take care of themselves in the future, which is all they really want.
