I've been doing some research on New Year's resolutions for a holiday I've created "This Time I Mean It Day," which is set for Feb 15. It's a day to celebrate what you've accomplished, make new goals, and remind yourself of what you started on January 1.

In the process, I found your article - which I liked - so I thought I'd share my holiday with you in the event you wanted to do a follow up to your article.

You can find out about the holiday at www.ThisTimeIMeanItDay.com or read the press release at http://www.free-press-release.com/news-new-celebration-to-re-ignite-failed-resolutions-debuts-this-month-1296611674.html

Thank you for your article - and for letting me share what I've created in the spirit of fun.

Sincerely,
Scott "Q" Marcus

I know people are responsible for their own actions, but there is a part of me that feels bad for those who finance Christmas gifts. I watched my in-laws go through an incredible amount of hardship each Christmas, that only seemed to get worse as time went on and more grandchildren arrived. They put so much pressure on themselves to outdo last Christmas. To me it just wasn't worth it. I hated watching them stress like that over something that was supposed to be a celebration.

Great Article! I found a grocery price comparison site that is opening in January, www.mygroceryspy.com . From what I’ve read, it updates every week and shows where the lowest prices are on a few hundred items. You can print out your shopping list or have it sent to your phone. (I’m not savvy enough for that though). I email them since their not up yet, and they told me they will be up in January in Atlanta and Birmingham AL. then other cities. I can’t wait to try it. http://www.mygroceryspy.com

It is great to see the real benefit of utilising a prepaid card. It is a great tool to help budgeting and prevent overspending. Also no risk of becoming overdrawn and incuring late payment fees. There are a number of cards available - some with monthly fees, and some with per transaction fees. Each individual's spending patterns are different but there is a card to suit everyone. Applause to ecomparison for highlighting the benefits of these cards.
